The FHI and UNC-Chapel Hill’s Carolina Lectures in Critical Thought will jointly support a short residency by Bruno Latour in Spring 2010. In conjunction with Prof. Latour’s visit, the FHI and CLCT will host throughout the 2009-2010 academic year simultaneous reading groups on their respective campuses in Durham and Chapel Hill.

The reading groups will first meet on Friday, September 18, 2009, 4-6pm and discuss Latour’s article “Why Has Critique Run Out of Steam?” published in Critical Inquiry. Subsequent meetings will be held on October 16 and November 20 in 2009, and January 22 and February 12 in 2010. All Duke meetings are scheduled for 4-6pm in Room 240, Franklin Center. Faculty and graduate students are welcome to attend the reading group at either campus. For more information, contact fhi@duke.edu or clct@unc.edu.
